January MS4 Update

Monday MS4 Update!

Any existing MS4 Permit, regardless of when that permit was issued, expires on 3/16/18. In order to renew the permit the Department of Environmental Protection (Pa DEP) requires the permit holder to submit a Notice Of Intent (NOI) to the Department 180 days prior to the permit expiration date. If a permit holder is required to submit a Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Plan and a Pollution Reduction Plan (PRP) Pa DEP requires those plans to be presented to the public for review and comment for a minimum of 45 days, prior to the submission of the NOI. The submission of the NOI and the TMDL and/or PRP means the deadline for MS4 permit holders to renew their permit is 8/3/17!

Make sure to check back on Monday, February 27th or every 4th Monday for a new update!
