ARRO is the consultant of choice on a wide range of projects requiring geologic and hydrogeologic services. This diverse range of projects includes groundwater appropriation studies, well siting studies, well remediation, sinkhole remediation, and contaminate fate and transport modeling. We have conducted specialized hydrogeologic studies for spray irrigation projects, industrial lagoons and impoundments, and regional water budget analyses.
ARRO was at the forefront of early efforts at wellhead protection. Wellhead protection management programs developed by ARRO range from programs that emphasize public education to programs requiring stringent performance standards, monitoring of existing sources, and prohibition on new development within the wellhead protection zone. Geographic information system (GIS) technology is used for data management and mapping of potential contamination sources, land-use controls, protection zones, and performance standards.
